The importance of relevant up-to-date video is becoming more apparent in the golf industry. Clubs are under pressure to engage with their customer base or else be left behind. Videography provides a medium in which clubs can connect with their membership or advertise their product to the wider market.
At 360 Golf we have seen how clever, engaging video content can help deliver on marketing goals whether the club is a small members club in the country or a busy golf tourist destination on the coast. The aims/ targets for the clubs might be very different however engaging video has produced great results and engagement throughout all the clubs we have recently been working with.
It is important to outline that we are not believers in tedious course flyovers where the user is uninterested by hole 5. We use various techniques in our shooting & editing to showcase the clubs to align with their marketing objectives. Editing usually takes up most of the time. For a typical one and a half minute video the shoot may take 4 hours and then the editing required may take twice that.
We also aim to focus on the golf clubs product (the golf course, the food, the surroundings etc). We are not trying to create the ‘perfect’ film. We aim to showcase what is on offer and keep the videos up to date and relevant.
